Ryan Swehla is on the Great Valley Academy's Board, in fact he'e the President of the Board. According to a recent Bee article the GVA is below average in test scores with schools of comparable demographics.
Now he has wormed his way, using his passion to be on the committee, the phrased used by his endorser. but is he really concerned about teaching children by using this experimental methods that seems to be failing, but are supported by some here in Stanislaus County.
Tom Changon seems to fear Swehla's political influence when it comes to answering questions about GVC. Swehla is a member of the Common Wealth Club and a business partner of Joe Muratore.
We will be inquiring into the questionable learning techniques and curriculum and following any developments including the new school they are intending to place in Manteca.
The Alliance is constantly saying one of the biggest drawbacks to bringing in new industry is the education level here in the valley.
Why would they support an institution who by all tangible, measurable, results is failing miserably?
