Finally 25th Assembly District Representative pulled her first legislative attempt known as Assembly Bill 941 from consideration knowing it didn't have a snowballs chance of passing. Of course that didn't stop the local print media sycophants from trumpeting it at the time. After all, they had endorsed Olsen and had their usual vested interest in pretending she will actually make a difference.
We're glad she was appointed to the legislatures Joint Sunset Review Committee (she'll be hard pressed to hurt California there) but unfortunately we can't expect much from her.
Her shortsighted stance on the potential tax extension bill, which can only reduce the amount of police on the streets, was spun as supporting law enforcement. Maybe if she were trying to cut the bloated retirements in order to cut the costs she could have helped but that was not the case.
