While the Sheriff hemmed and hawed a lot for the Bee explaining that the callers that night , the Board of Supervisors, and the full moon were responsible for the delayed response times to the killing of Kenneth Willis, we were reminded of a child when when asked, "Who broke that toy" never says, "I did it."
No Sheriff Christianson, the self proclaimed teflon man is never at fault.
Remember after just seven days Rita Elias was shot and killed he declared former sheriff's Detective Kari Abbey was innocent of all wrong doing. His department after six months said the same thing.
But after investigating just a few short weeks the D.A. found reason to file second degree murder charges and manslaughter charges among others.
Apparently after Sheriff Christianson makes a "finding" his department finds ways to back it up.Can we ever expect to get the truth out of this man?
Is he ever accountable?
He argued even with a recent Grand Jury report and now he absolves his department of all responsibility.
