While Adam Christianson plans for a dog and pony show at tomorrows Board of Supervisors Meeting (watch for item B-16 on the consent calendar to be pulled to be discussed publically) to thank all of the employees he has to let go, he’s already planning to pay off at least one in particular.
It always helps when you have a relative as the treasurer to Adams Campaign and helps even more when you have another relative helping to run Christianson’s campaign but I don’t think any of the soon to be laid-off Deputies expect Adam to rehire Modesto’s Mayor Jim Ridenour quite so quickly as he intends to.
Yes Mayor Ridenour who now makes over $22,000 dollars a year at his part-time job (two ten hour days, Thursdays and Fridays) yes while he’s employed as Modesto’s full time Mayor at $36,000 dollars a year.
So while he’s publicly thanking his Deputies he’s already planning on re-hiring his favorite part-timer back.
Once again Adam Christianson, thanks for the memories.
