Olsen stands up for public safety..You've got to be kidding

Can I be reading this? Is someone delusional? Didn't they notice we've had a reduction in officers in Stanislaus County and our beloved(tongue in cheek) 25th Assembly Representative Kristin Olsen is standing against allowing the people of California getting to vote regarding a tax extension.

Recently, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) began attacking Assembly Member Kristin Olsen in mailers and ads, suggesting that she isn't protecting public safety because she won't vote for the governor's tax proposal. This tactic is both inaccurate and unfair. I worked with Olsen on several public safety issues during her two terms as a member of the Modesto City Council. I can assure your readers that her commitment to public safety is stronger than anyone's.
As a career-long member of collective bargaining unions, I understand that their sole purpose is to protect their members. Through the years, I have seen heavy-handed tactics that have been counter productive. The SEIU is picking the wrong fight here by calling out a dedicated, caring representative who has always supported public safety.
