The Bee wants to appoint our RULERS
Didn't we fight the Revolutionary War because of this very issue?
The McClatchy News known locally as the BEE continues to try to brainwash us into believing we're better off having someone else choose our "ELECTED" officials.
The Bee's help is something we DON'T need.
Like him or not Jesse James White is doing the citizens of Riverbank a favor by taking the heat and allowing them to VOTE.

RIVERBANK — Jesse James White's failure to attend three City Council meetings this month is going to cost the city as much as $35,000.That's the high end of what the city estimates it will cost to hold a special election in March to fill the vacancy created after Councilman Danny Fielder resigned July 29.The council could have appointed someone, but could not muster enough members to hold a meeting to discuss that option after White said he would not be available.
