Imagine if someone showed up at your home and engaged you in an extended argument, a scuffle ensued and they went to their car and got a gun.
What would you do?
After all, isn't your home supposed to be your castle? Would you try to get them to leave? I know I would.
But if this person who came to your door, was a member of L/E and even though they are off duty and on "personal business, if they feel threatened should they be able to SHOOT and KILL you?
That seems to be the approach of Adam Christianson and others in law enforcement.
Heck imagine it was your neighbor that it happened to. Someone "a civilian" comes to their door argues with them pulls a gun and kills them, does the shooter get to go home with their loved ones after taking someone else's life?
You certainly hope the answer is no.
But if they're a member of the L/E, it's "special rules for special people."
